Linux Developer

Chelsio is seeking an experienced software engineer to develop network drivers and TCP offload functions on Linux/BSD-derived operating system platforms.

The candidate must have worked at the architectural level on networking hardware and software with hands-on development experience on Linux or BSD-based platforms. The ability to organize requirements and architect solutions is critical to this position.

The candidate will be involved in all phases of the software development process, including requirement analysis, design specification, coding, performance optimization and trouble shooting. In addition, this role will involve working closely with customers for problem resolution related to Linux based device driver issues.

Requirements:
- Minimum of 3-5 years experience in high-speed network device drivers on BSD or Linux.
- BSD "based kernel development experience is mandatory
- Deep knowledge of the TCP/IP network stack is required.
- Experience with RDMA/Infiniband is a plus.
- MSEE, MSCS or equivalent.
