"I started this blog so I could keep all the useful information I find about Ubuntu in one spot, and share my Ubuntu experience with the world.

Since using Ubuntu coming out of the Microsoft dark ages about a year ago, I often wonder why I didn't make the switch to another operating system sooner, rather than deal with what Microsoft has to offer.

When I speak to most people they have no idea of the free operating systems and software available to everyone on the web. When I utter the words Linux to my friends they roll their eyes and make excuses not to try it, or try to say drivers are not supported as well as Microsoft. Well that used to be the case, but how things have changed.

So if you're thinking of giving Ubuntu a try, I say don't be scared and jump right in. You will be amazed at what you are missing out on!"
